Pacific Downunder was established in Switzerland in 1996 an intrinsic step following extensive travels within Australia, New Zealand, the South Pacific, USA , UK and Europe. This combined with a strong back ground of global tourism and tourism development ensured the company had a strong and secure base. Over the past 23 years the company has proactively marketed tourism products and destinations to the Western tourism markets and countries.

Through the integrity of maintaining and building on client relations, Pacific Downunder maintains an agent base primarily in the key markets of the UK and Europe as well as USA, Canada and New Zealand. In addition, through drive, honesty and principles, Pacific Downunder has built a strong rapport with many tourism partners globally. The company has established relationships with all the key Australian, New Zealand and South Pacific Inbound Tour Operators and outbound wholesalers with access to the respective key decision makers that include CEO’s, Managing Directors, Product Managers, and both telephone and filed based sales staff. This is essential in gaining product distribution through key global distribution channels.

We are a company that can be relied upon to provide effective global marketing support and product development consultancy; for tourism operators and their global tourism partners throughout the western markets. With a fully manned office in Australia and a base in Switzerland along with state of art equipment for on the road sales & marketing missions, we are fully accessible to the global tourism trade.

Since its inception, Pacific Downunder has been contracted to the UK/European markets as a GSA for a few partners maintaining a presence in the market place on their behalf. At all times we have ensured that no clients conflict and we are able to supply each partner and their customers with a personalised service that truly assists their tourism and market development. As a contractor our role has always been and will continue to be to represent our partners in the market place, therefore not promoting ourselves. Acting on clients behalf, we conduct product and market development in a manner that at any time clients and partners are able to take back the role themselves to continue developing their presence on an ongoing basis.

Being proactive with a responsible and affordable presence in key and developing markets will be fundamental for key tourism operators leading to 2020.
